The Falcon Release from early June included the following new functions and updates.
Status-Traffic Light / Qualitative Evaluation
Falcon evaluates measures using the schedule and effect traffic lights. That wasn't enough for some of our users. We are therefore adding the qualitative status traffic light. When you create a status report, you can choose whether the measure should be assessed green, yellow or red. The status traffic light from the most recent status report is also displayed in the project tree by default.
And of course, you can also use the status traffic light for packages, projects, and programs.
Risk Assessment
But that's not all the new features in the status report. We have also expanded the assessment of risks. In addition to the usual free text field, you can now rate the probability of a risk occurring and how critical it would be.
You can also submit risk assessments for packages, projects, and programs by creating status reports at these levels.
Stateful Grids
There is a lot behind this seemingly inconspicuous extension. From now on, Falcon remembers the selection and arrangement of columns in the tables/grids. So if, for example, the columns ‘Read-only’ and ‘Phase’ are not important for you in the schedule view, you can hide them, and Falcon will remember this setting beyond your session. The tables/grids retain their state in the Process, Schedule, Status, and Files tabs at the respective level.
Other improvements and bug fixes:
Shortcuts: We open Falcon to shortcuts. We start with Ctrl+s to save profile texts. More to follow!
Expand and collapse effect columns: On the right above the effects there is a new column selection module in which you can temporarily hide the plan, actual/forecast, and delta columns.
Update Power BI Connector: The new Falcon functionalities have also made it necessary to update the Power BI Connector. If you use the connector, please make sure that you download the new connector from this link and exchange it locally so that you can also load the new information from Falcon!
