๐Ÿš€ Release ๐Ÿš€

We've been burning the midnight oil, chugging down gallons of coffee, and occasionally muttering sweet nothings to our code. Behold, the result: a new Falcon Version is ready! Prepare yourselves for a symphony of new features, improvements, and downright cheeky enhancements.

Imports Galore!

Falcon embraces imports like never before! You can now import entire trees and profile data and a click of a button. Not enough? This, from now on, holds true for process and phase data, too.

Coupled with Falconโ€™s already existing import capabilities for schedule and effect data, you can now import entire project portfolios in no time!

Do you happen to have workbooks with project lists, descriptions, schedules, budgets and effects and nothing fits together anymore? Falconโ€™s import is here to help. Say goodbye to the spreadsheet chaos and hello to streamlined transformation and strategy success!

More Power for Your Bottom-Up Process

Have you felt the power of Falcon's bottom-up process yet? Now, with our latest update, you can copy effect, phases, and schedule data to plan (and actual, too, by the way) with a new set of options! You can pinpoint exactly which values need to be transferred, including the option to choose if empties overwrite existing values. Perfect for those moments when you're knee-deep in project re-planning!

Several Security Updates - Fort Knox Style

Security is our jam, and we're not messing around! As per usual, we introduced a couple of improvements on this front, too. Example? Clicking attachment links? No problemo! Falcon's state-of-the-art authentication process is always on guard, checking if you are allowed to get access to the attachments.

But wait, there's more! Hub owners can now disable the web viewer for PDFs altogether and set the frequency of password renewals.

Speaking of passwords. New passwords need to flex those characters a bit more, and password strength is now checked at all login attempts, ensuring your account stays as secure - making your workflow smoother and safer than ever. We're serious about keeping your data safe, folks!

Other Improvements and Housekeeping

  • Now, the decision-making power is in your hands - choose if new programs are public or private, visible only to you. It's like having your own secret garden within Falcon.

  • And hey, the Min. and Max. values now pair up nicely with detailed reporting again, ensuring your data stays in perfect harmony. Who knew data could sing in such perfect pitch?

  • Activity highlights now extend to start dates and aggregated views, giving you a front-row seat to all the action. It's like Falcon just got a spotlight, shining brightly on the important stuff!

  • Report and export subscriptions are back to working reliably, like a trusty sidekick, always there when you need them. No more surprises or disappearing acts - just smooth sailing ahead!

  • Personal access tokens are back to working seamlessly again so you can integrate with Power BI and other tools at your will and when you will.

  • Now, the number of users within a group is highlighted for your convenience, helping you stay organized and on top of your team dynamics.

  • Locking effect periods now works from all time zones, ensuring that your data stays consistent and reliable across the globe.

  • We've spruced up the hub lobby with a neat reload button! No more fussing around - just hit the button and watch Falcon refresh like magic. It's the little things that make a big difference!

That's it for now, folks! We're always cooking up something new to make Falcon soar even higher. If you want to learn more about what we do, reach out anytime! ๐Ÿš€

May we conclude?

The new Falcon is not just an update; it's once again a little digital fiesta. Brace yourselves for a wild ride through the magical realm of Falcon's new import capabilities!

Thank you for being an awesome user! Now go forth, lead your project portfolio to success and may your reportings always be accurate.

Happy times trying it out! ๐Ÿš€๐ŸŽ‰
