Adjustments in the MFA area

The security area for users has been visually redesigned to make it clearer. It is now even easier for every user to see how to activate multi-factor authentication or set up an Authenticator app, for example.

IP Allowlist*

To ensure maximum security, it is now possible to grant access to your Falcon Hub only from predefined network addresses. This can be especially useful if you use a VPN. External access to your Falcon data is thus excluded.

Audit Log / Monitoring Log*

Another feature that increases security. It is now possible for hub owners to export a monitoring log in the hub management. Here, conclusions can be drawn about logins in particular.

Optimization of the effect calculation

Falcon is designed to manage and track large and complex project portfolios. This also applies to effect structures (= budgeting). Especially when calculations are set for many effect lines, it becomes technically challenging. Falcon has already initially searched for the most effective calculation path before calculating in order to minimize the calculation time. We have optimized this procedure again so that even budgetings with 50+ lines and calculations are calculated quickly and smoothly.

Optimization and adjustments of the import

Import is already one of the most helpful features in Falcon and is much used. In some cases, unwanted cell formatting at the end of an import file caused imports to take a very long time or could not be performed. As a result, we have limited the number of rows that can be imported per spreadsheet to 5,000. This makes the imports run even faster.

Other improvements and fixes

  • "My schedule" is now called "Your work".

  • The slider used in various places and among others to enable multi-factor authentication has been simplified in operation.

  • Enhanced security settings: Hub admins can customize advanced security settings in the hub settings and limit the number of concurrent sessions users can have in the hub, for example.*

  • In addition to imports, exports and reports have been made more robust overall. For example, blanks at the beginning and end of a value are ignored and potential errors, such as exceeding the maximum number of rows for XLS files, are communicated to the user via email.

  • New hubs can now be created via the hub quick selection in Falcon's hub lobby.

  • If the budgeting start date does not fall on the start date of the created (start) period, it will be automatically aligned. The same applies to the end date of the last period, so Falcon now always creates fully defined periods.

  • In special cases, where today's date was outside the aggregation period, aggregation from months to quarters and years was incorrect. In the course of optimizing the period starts and ends, this error was also fixed.
