Note: You need write permission to create a new activity.
Activity: An activity in Falcon resembles a To-Do or a single task. They are assigned to a single user on the measure level. They have a fixed start and end. If they do not, it is likely that you are dealing with an ongoing assignment. In that case, you may want to split the assignment into trackable chunks.
To add an activity:
Click on the plus symbol above the schedule of an event.
Describe an activity in the new row and determine the start and end date using the drop-down menu in the form of a calendar in the actual columns on the right.
In the next step, the project administrator can accept the activity by transferring your entries to the plan.
Activities can also be added at any time by clicking the plus icon against a blue background in the upper left corner of Falcon. In order to assign the activity, Falcon asks you for the measure.
A little heads up: Activities should not be confused with milestones, although these are often used synonymously in everyday language. Milestones are markers or goals that are usually directly related to a number of activities, such as the topping-out ceremony. In Falcon, milestones can be either acttivites or an action that is directly named as a milestone.
